Paws for X’MAS BBQ

Our “stray friends” Xmas Party was a fabulous day. Thanks to all the people who came, our hardworking volunteers, the generous donors and our staff. A lot of work goes into an event and it is just so wonderful that the effort was supported and everyone enjoyed the party. Approximately $50,000 was raised.
THANK YOU ALL FOR COMING!

Going the distance – 100km run

Arpan Savlani has taken on the challenge of running 1000km over 365 days in order to raise awareness and funds for SKSFF. Arpan also decided to celebrate her birthday to benefit our stray friends by hosting a drinks and nibbles evening at Delaney’s Cyberport, some of our stray friends made an appearance too. Entry tickets were sold at the door and all proceeds went to SKSFF. Arpan’s goal is to raise HK$25K and as of October 2017, Arpan has raised nearly HK$21K. Help Arpan reach her goal by donating here :  https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/arpan-savlani

Pure Yoga – shave for strays fundraiser

Pure Yoga instructors Frances, Noy, Hari Om and Pure Group’s Regional Marketing Director Gary Wise shaved their heads in June 2017 to help raise some much needed money for our stray friends, a truly fantastic initiative. The final amount raised by Pure Yoga was over HK$30K.

Beavers school visit

299th East Kowloon Beavers group from Sai Kung joined us as an after school activity to walk our dogs. The children were so respectful and they all had a great time interacting with our stray friends. Leaders and supporting parents were impressed by some of the timid children became a lot braver with dogs during their session.

Birthday party

Kyra had a fabulous birthday celebration at our kennels. The children had an introduction to day to day kennel duties. The enthusiasm of the children was just amazing… all eager for action! Firstly, they listened to a short talk about how the dogs came into the kennels, followed by a tour and then the work started which included dog walking, food preparation, serving meals, dog washing, dog brushing and we even had happy offers to wash the dog bowls. The children were just fantastic and had a wonderful experience. Kyra the birthday girl was so kind to ask her family and friends to donate money to our help our stray friends, instead of receiving gifts for herself.
